Little baby Finn is now 4 months old – as of the May 1st. He’s already in 9 month clothes and has outgrown all his cute jackets from this winter. It’s been a pretty chilly couple of weeks, so I had the perfect excuse to make Finn a new hoodie. I followed this pattern for the Baby in the Hood Jacket. I made it in the 9-12 month size, because I was hoping he’d get at least the summer to wear it. I made it with a flannel lining. Of course by the 4th sleeve, I finally mastered sleeve ease and sewed it with perfection. The first 2 (exterior sleeves) don’t look as good. but practice makes perfect I suppose. I also made him some pants in the same fabric, with the fabric from Finn’s first quilt pictured here as the reversible side. It’s a little too much to pair them together, but I couldn’t resist!
I’ve created an etsy shop finally (shop name is honeyflowerdesigns) – it’s not populated with anything yet but I hope to have it set up by the end of the week with some goodies. Alex has worked hard at designing my logo with my new name, honey flower. I love it. It’s warm and welcoming and not too cheesy. Sounds nice – like something anyone would like. Not a bad thing!
Anyway, that’s the latest in my world. Busy busy! Hope you have a great weekend.
