I went straight home after work today, feeling pretty under the weather. I did make one stop- at the fish market- and found they had swordfish just in, fresh as can be. I scooped up a good steak and made my way home. After spending a couple of hours trying to forget my headache by browsing ravelry.com and coming up with new knitting projects, Alex finally arrived home. We made our way to the kitchen, me feeling totally uninspired and mostly interested in miso soup, a bath, tea and bed. But Alex pulled through with some inspiring ideas that got me going and we put a meal together in no time. Fresh sauteed swordfish with garlic, tamari & mango juice, topped with black bean cucumber & mango salsa, with roasted butternut squash & vanilla coconut risotto on the side. That meal made me feel much better. Now on to my tea, a bath and then bed. With dreams of feeling better and dining on fresh swordfish for lunch tomorrow. Mmmm, leftovers!
